A child can join anytime during the school term.

How we teach

These are soft ball cricket classes.
We are preparing the children to transition to hard ball by 8 years.

Criteria to transition from soft ball to hard ball View criteria ▾

Bowling (16 metre pitch)

Is able to bowl at least 8 out of 10 balls straight, one bounce to the batsman, using a hard (142g) or semi-hard (110g) ball.
Uses a run-up and a correct-footed jump to generate momentum in the bowling action.

Fielding

Catching — has developed the correct open-palm technique and can take 8 out of 10 medium-high catches cleanly (using a semi-hard ball).

Weekly class plan –

30 mins — Skills training in batting, bowling & fielding.
30 mins — A match (learning the rules and how to play a real match).

Our coaches are patient, encouraging and great with young children — keeping energy high and making every session enjoyable.
Small groups of 4 kids per coach means every child gets plenty of attention and time with the ball.

Fees

$33 per class

Ratio of 4 students to 1 coach.
