SUCCESS STORIES
OUR PLAYER'S SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS.
Renesh (U11)
Renesh had his first cricket coaching session in February 2018. Since then Renesh has worked hard and has gone from never having played club cricket before, to being selected in the Parramatta District U11 Reps Squad for the 2018/19 season. Renesh’s fuss-free and challenge accepting attitude has seen him surpass his peers quickly and prove himself with the bat and the bowl.
Lauren (Australian U19 Talent Squad)
Lauren is a fast learner and a keen sports person. Lauren started training with Ankit in late 2017. Coming from a strong tennis background, one of the main concerns was that her bottom hand was dominating her strokes which could lead to her hitting in the air. Lauren accepted this issue and we got to work straight away. We are very proud of how far Lauren has come since then, in February 2019 she played in the U15 National Championships for NSW Metro and received player of the match in the finals where she helped her team win by taking 4 wickets. She has now been selected in the Cricket Australia U15 Talent Squad.
Patrick (U17)
At the start of the 2017/18 cricket season Patrick was having a bit of a batting slump. In his first three innings he scored 7, 11 & 16. His confidence was low and he needed guidance. Patrick had his first cricket coaching session with Ankit in October 2017 and before the end of the season he went on to score 36, 38, 47, 58 & 70. Very proud of Patrick’s hard work and determinaton so far, he has recently been selected in his school’s 1st XI team for the 2018/19 season.
Ian (Seniors)
After a 15 year break from cricket Ian returned to the sport in the 2016/17 season where he scored a total of 30 runs in the season. Ian started his cricket coaching with Ankit in September 2017 and in the 2017/18 season ended up with 333 runs including 4 fifties and being an integral part in his team’s win in the competition. We are very proud of what Ian has achieved through his hard work and focus.
